Soft Rise
Letters drift up and fade in, then lift away. The everyday title.

42 text animations made with Flexile’s Text Animator, from a one-line fade to stacked keyframe groups. Point at a clip to play it, copy the preset, and paste it onto any text layer in the Flexile panel. Every clip is rendered in After Effects from exactly what the Copy button gives you.
Seven groups on one layer: the letters rise in, line one punches, line two swings, line three stretches and turns purple, a ripple runs through all three, and everything drops out.
You need Flexile in After Effects 2025 or newer. The installation guide takes a few minutes; Flexile is free during the beta.
Copy preset puts the preset on your clipboard: a short block of JSON in the format the panel copies out itself.
In After Effects, select one or more text layers. On Flexile’s Text page, click the options button at the bottom right, choose Paste from clipboard, paste into the field and click Save.
Every group lands on the layer as Flexile effects (Flexile Text IN, Flexile Position IN and so on). Change Time, Offset, the Power keyframes or any value in Effect Controls, or keep editing from the panel.
One In and one Out. A few effects, a Time and an Offset: that is the whole recipe. Swipe for more.

In animates every letter from the effect values to rest, starting at the layer’s in point. Out does the reverse and ends at the out point. Both are timed by Time, Offset and Letter Flow.
A keyframe group is a third kind, and a layer can have as many as you like, each with its own name and effects. Its Power slider says how much of those effects is applied: 100 is all of it, 0 none, and a negative value pushes the other way. You keyframe Power, and Offset replays that curve a few frames later on each letter, so one pulse becomes a wave that travels through the word.
That is how the next 21 presets put motion in the middle of a shot: hops, shakes, colour sweeps, loops, and exits of their own, mixed with an In and an Out on the same layer.
